Details: Swiss and international colleagues working on Swiss culture collaborated to debate some themes which are fundamental to Swiss nationhood: Neutrality, Democracy, Multiculturalism, Intercultural Exchange and so on. In particular, the conference sought to explore the impact that recent political and economic crises on the one hand and a growing internationalisation and globalisation on the other have had on the image of Switzerland, as reflected in the country’s literature.
