In the presented work, a new design methodology for Microstrip Coupled Lines band-pass filter is presented. The traditional methodology is cumbersome, whereas, it needs to a lot of calculations in addition to use of many charts and tables. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is utilized to build the nonlinear relationship between the design specifications and the physical dimensions of the required filter. The scattering parameters, S-parameters, of the designed filter using the demonstrated technique is successfully validated with the corresponding quantity of the designed filter utilized conventional methodology. Consequently, accurate and fast Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool is obtained.
